Shipping Policy

Order processing

Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment is received. Weekend and holiday orders are processed on the next business day. Tracking information is provided when your order ships.

Canadian parcel delivery

Shipping options and charges for eligible parcel items are shown at checkout. Estimated delivery within Canada is 2–8 business days after dispatch. Delivery estimates are not guaranteed and may vary by destination, carrier, weather or other delays.

U.S. parcel delivery

We offer free UPS Standard shipping to the United States for eligible ordinary parcel items. Atlantic Surplus Direct pays the outbound shipping charge. Estimated delivery is 4–10 business days after dispatch; customs processing may cause delays. Large, heavy and freight items are excluded.

Customs, duties and import fees

U.S. and other international buyers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and other import charges. Free shipping covers transportation only and does not include these fees.

Other international destinations

Contact us before ordering to confirm parcel delivery availability for your item and destination. Other international destinations are not currently offered through online checkout. For eligible ordinary parcel shipments that we agree to arrange, we pay the outbound shipping charge; the buyer remains responsible for customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees and other import charges. Delivery times vary by destination and customs processing.

Large, heavy and freight items

A shipping quote is required before purchasing items marked “Shipping quote required.” These items are excluded from free shipping and standard parcel rates. Contact us with the product name or part number, quantity, postal code and delivery requirements. Tell us whether the destination is residential or commercial and whether a loading dock or forklift is available.

The buyer pays the agreed freight charge unless we approve a different arrangement in writing. Freight arrangements and delivery timing must be confirmed before payment. Pickup in the Fredericton area may be arranged in advance. U.S. freight delivery is currently unavailable.

Carriers

We use carriers such as Canada Post, UPS, Purolator and FedEx, depending on the item and destination. Freight shipments require separate arrangements.

Address accuracy and delivery problems

Please check your delivery address before placing an order. If your shipment arrives damaged or appears lost, contact us promptly with your order number and details so we can assist.
